ISP and DialUp/DSL Accounts
|
FRWS offers ISP DialUp accounts to its customers. These accounts can be used
by private, organizational and business customers as provided for in the sign-up
agreement.
The AUP's as posted pertain to the DialUp accounts as well as to the server hosting,
and other hosting accounts.
General information abut DialUp accounts can be found here: ISP Information Page
FRWS offers "Unlimited Usage" on all its dial-up accounts.
What does "Unlimited" mean, exactly?
Unlimited means we will not disconnect you after a set time period - and it means you can dial in any time of
day or night. This does not mean you can stay connected 24x7x365 and use a modem line exclusively for
your own use. Modems do disconnect people for various reasons, but it will not be purposefully done by
FRWS unless we are performing maintenance on our equipment or we have an outtage (this is always
possible), or you have been found to be abusing this policy.
Do not expect to stay on ALL the time (24x7) without incurring additional charges (a dedicated modem line
to FRWS is currently being billed at $45 monthly if you desire or have a need for such a connection).
You can and will get disconnected if you are found to be abusing this privilege.
Repeated violations can result in the suspension and/or cancellation of your dialup account.
Multiple Connections:
FRWS only offers 1 concurrent connection per account. You can only use 1 modem at time with your dial-up account
unless specific arrangements are made for multiple connections.
