Here is where you create your SSL Certificate Request to use to get your Certificate "Signed" by a CA Service/Authority such as Instant SSL or Thawte or even VeriSign.

Main differences between those 3 are price and history.
They are all equally effective and valid - and above all - SECURE!!!

The process is simple, though a little confusing for a first timer, so let's do it right!
(If you make a mistake - just clear the form and do it again!)

Create Your CSR:

Your Country Abbreviation:
Example: The United States is US
Your State or Province Name:
Spell it out: Colorado
Your Locality Name:
Your City, once again spelled out - Colorado Springs
Organization/Company Name:
Your Company or Business/Organization's name -
FRWS, LLC
(NOTE: If this is a personal certificate, use your domain if you have one, or your real name)
Organizational Unit Name:
This is your domain name, without any prefixes -
Example: frws.com
Common Name:
If this CSR is for an SSL website, use your WHOLE SSL site URL/Name as in: www.frws.com
If it is a Personal certificate, its your full name.

(NOTE: For a domain based SSL certificate, you HAVE to have a full URL like 'secure.frws.com' or you will pay a lot of $$ for the Certificate. Please keep this in mind.)
Email Address for the Certificate:
Use an email address you will have for awhile. Not a throw away. This is important.
